Condolences

Condolence From: Mike Foley
Condolence: To Mary Lou and Bill's family.

I don't know if you'll remember me but I worked with Bill on the installation of Irv and Anita Twomey's Wurlitzer in Manhcester back in the late 1960's. I recall Bill well and always remember how much everyone thought of him. I was young and then never truly appreciated the amazing knowledge and aeonautical experience of the many that worked all those nights. I certainly never knew that Bill had earned the Purple Heart. Incredible!

I miss those days and the fine people I knew then. They set the direction of my life as I started our firm devoted to the care and rebuilding of pipe organs throughout America. There are 18 of us still very active and I thank having known folks like Bill, Irv, Harry Charette, Phil Stock and others for the sucesses I've enjoyed.

I of course, recall having met you Mary Lou and offer my deepest condolences at this special time.

Mike Foley

Condolence From: Richard Fee
Condolence: I heard the news that Bill had passed this morning at the museum and am deeply sorrowed. I had the pleasure of showing the interior of Bill's Lockheed 10 to the public the first and only time that the aircraft has been opened to the public. I was very proud to do it and to be able to describe the work that Bill and his team did to bring the aircraft back to the beautiful condition that it is today. The New England Air Museum is what it is today because of people like Bill and he will be missed.
