Eleanor V. Johnson, 81, of Enfield, passed away on Saturday January 14, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Medical Center, Stafford Springs. Eleanor was born on July 22, 1930 in Glens Falls, NY to the late Albert H. and Eleanor V. (Olsen) Johnson and had resided in Enfield for many years. Eleanor served her country honorably with the U.S. Navy. Prior to retiring she was employed as an administrative secretary with Combustion Engineering, Windsor, CT for 25 years.
Eleanor is survived by her sister Lavern M. Johnson of Enfield.
Along with her parents she was predeceased by a brother Robert H. Johnson. There are no calling hours. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
