Obituary for Tina A. Iervolino (Achino)

Tina A. (Achino) Iervolino, of Ballston Lake, NY and formerly of Enfield, CT entered into eternal life with her loving family at her side on Thursday (April 25, 2013) in Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to the late Alfred C. Iervolino (2000).
Tina was born on April 20, 1921 in Yonkers, NY a daughter of the late Antonio and Gemma (Benanchietti) Achino and was a graduate of Commerce H.S. She had resided in Enfield, CT for 55 years and the past 8 years in Ballston Lake, NY. Tina retired from Hallmark Cards, Inc. Enfield many years ago after 31 years of service and was a member of the Hallmark Retirees 25 year Club. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Tina is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law; Susan & Roger Gibbs of Ballston Lake, NY, her two beloved granddaughters; Sarah DePasquale & husband Jason and Rachel Hannur & husband Benjamin, and her loving great grandchild Lorenzo DePasquale. She also is survived by a nephew; Carl Pagano and a niece Betty Anne Achino. She was predeceased by a sister; Flora Inocco and a brother; Joseph Achino.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Tuesday (April 30, 2013) from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Adalbert Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
