Obituary for Jason M. Ouellet

Jason M. Ouellet
Jason M. Ouellet – It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our son, Jason. Jason’s youth was marked by a strong potential, an engaging and energetic personality and likability that nearly everyone who knew him commented on. His displays of independence could be admirable or disconcerting: he taught himself to ride a unicycle, but we could not get him to do his homework. Unfortunately, none of these attributes were sufficient to shield him from the many ravages of the mental illness that stole his life and health.
He leaves his parents, Peter and Christine (Sic) Ouellet of Somers, his grandmothers, Rita Ouellet and Sadie Sic, his uncles, Roger Ouellet and his wife, JoAnn, Anthony Ouellet and Lynda Gallaway, his aunt, Sandra Brancato, and cousins, Nick and Julie. Jason was predeceased by his grandfathers, Paul F. Ouellet and Stanley E. Sic.
The family extends its thanks and gratitude to the Community Health Resources ACTT Team of Manchester for their understanding and care, and the Probate Court of the State of Connecticut. Memorial donations in Jason’s memory may be made to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (bbrfoundation.org).
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
