They made their home together in Enfield for 43 years, raising their two sons. Gordie worked for Kaman for 35 years, retiring in 1995. Gordie was very involved with his boys growing up, coaching in the Hazardville Little League from 1969 through 1978, winning championships in 1971 with his Starr Homes team and again in 1978 with his Bridges Construction Team. He was also involved with Boy Scout Troop 888.
Gordie leaves behind his son Jeff, his wife Donna and their daughter Alexandra of Andover, CT; his son Steve Tracy, his partner Christina Anchetta and stepdaughter Skyler of Chesapeake, VA; his sister, Norma Keans of Walpole, NH; his sister-in-law Eleanor (Masse) Coulter and her husband Al of Enfield. Gordie will always be remembered for his positive outlook and his great sense of humor. Steve and I were very lucky to have such a great Dad and role model in our lives.
