Obituary for Michael Arcouette

Michael   Arcouette
On February 9, 2015 Michael Arcouette passed peacefully in his sleep into the safe keeping of God’s angels. Michael was a lifelong resident of Enfield and he owned and operated Arcouette’s Auto Center along with his brother Tim. Michael had a zest for life. He loved his family, his adventures and was the “Rock” of his family.
Michael was the beloved husband of Jean Leduc with whom he shared life’s adventures. Michael is survived by a daughter Michelle and her boyfriend Brian and a son Michael and his girlfriend Melanie and their boys Zach and Matt.
He is also survived by his four brothers Ned, John, Tim and Jim and a sister Mary.
Michael shared a special relationship with his step daughter Erin Leduc and her fiancé Matt Longino and their children Wes and Asher. Michael was predeceased by his parents Edward and Joan (Kennedy) Arcouette and a nephew Kevin.
Michael’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (Feb. 13, 2015) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Feb. 14, 2015) with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 a.m. to St. Bernard Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Hazardville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Enfield Food Shelf, P.O. 699 Enfield, CT 06083-0699.
