Sr. Mary Veronica Zacharczyk, entered into eternal life at the age of 96, on Saturday July 18, 2015 in the Holy Family Care Center. Sister was born on Dec. 24, 1918 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie Zacharczyk. She was a member of the Felician Sister’s Community for 78 years and taught in various schools in the area staffed by the Felician Sisters. She is survived by a niece.
Funeral Services for Sr. Mary Veronica will be held on Tuesday July 21, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 1315 Enfield St. in Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery in Enfield. Calling hours for Sister are Monday July 20, 2015 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Felician Sisters Convent, in Enfield. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Felician Sister’s Retirement Fund, 1315 Enfield Street Enfield, CT 06082. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels Enfield, CT has been entrusted with Sister’s arrangements.
