Nicolo "Nick" A.   Curcio
Nicolo “Nick” A. Curcio, 72, of Jupiter, FL and Enfield, CT, entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 31, 2016 with loved ones at his side. He was the beloved husband of 30+ years to the late Ellen (Plant) Curcio (2008). Nicolo was born on Sept. 10, 1943 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, CT to the late Nicolo and Santina (Noto) Curcio. He had resided in Enfield most of his life and the past 37 years in Jupiter, FL. Nick served our country honorably with the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion, Tanguay- Magill Post 80 in Enfield and the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Prior to retiring as Transportation Manager in 2005 Nick was employed for over 20 years with the former Arnold’s Bakery / presently Best Food. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and Classic cars. Nick was also a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society in Enfield.
Nick is survived by his children; Daniel Dennis of CT, Michelle McCallion of CT, Sandra Fikaris of FL and Toni Lembo of RI, his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Jerry Curcio of NC, Louie Curcio of FL, Roy Curcio of CT, and Angelo Curcio of FL, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.He was predeceased by his sister Marie Heck.
His family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours on Thursday April 7, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield.
Funeral services for Nick will be held on Friday April 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Fr. John Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield with military honors.
