Laurette C. (Caron) Drouin, 93, of Enfield, journeyed home to the Lord on April 8, 2016. She was born on September 10, 1922 in St. Epiphane, Quebec, Canada to the late Michel and Marcelline Caron. She was a Past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxilary Tanguay Magill Post 80, Enfield, as well as a lifetime member and also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court All Saints #1435 in Somers. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her husband of 62 years Joseph G. Drouin, most recently her daughter Rachel Kozikowski as well as her son-in-law Alexander Kozikowski. She leaves behind her three sons; Albert & his wife Carolyn of Stafford Springs, Gilbert & his wife Linda of Monson, MA and Victor & his wife Lori of Ashford, along with eight grandchildren and 8 great granddaughters many cousins and close friends.
Laurette’s family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours on Tuesday April 12, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday April 13, 2016 with the funeral procession forming at 9 am from the funeral home to St. Bernard Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Enfield.
