Margaret A. (Kertenis) Ragion, 88, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Tuesday April 26, 2016 with her loving family at her side at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Ragion who passed in 1981. Margaret was born & raised in the Scitico section of Enfield on May 23, 1927, a daughter of the late Victor and Justina Kertenis and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. She was a graduate of Enfield High School Class of 1946. Prior to retiring a few years ago Margaret was employed with Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Standard & the last 38 years with Enfield High School Cafeteria. She was a communicant of St. Adalbert Church. Margaret’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her loving family.
Margaret is survived by two sons; Michael Ragion and his wife Terry of Enfield, and Thomas Ragion and his wife Sharon of Colchester, CT, her five beloved grandchildren and nine cherished great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews, a special niece Susan Ruth. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Per Margaret’s request there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Adalbert Church 90 Alden Ave. Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donation in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 1463 Highland Ave, Cheshire, CT 06410.
