Nicholas “Nick” A. Diana, 73, of Enfield, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at Baystate Medical Ctr., Springfield, MA. Nick was born on May 15, 1943 in Enfield, CT to the late Charles and Mary (Mule) Diana and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. He was an outgoing and personable guy, who had a quick-wit and great sense of humor and many friends.
He is survived by his twin brother; Gerald Diana of Springfield, MA, his sister-in-law; Maria Diana of Vernon, his beloved nieces and nephews; Charles Diana, Maria Diana-Root, Angela Babcock (Duncan), Joseph Bosco (Jackie), Charlie Bosco (Lori), Angelo Bosco (Christie), John Bosco (Alison) and Rori Correia (Nelson), and many great nieces and great nephews with whom he had a special relationship. Nick was predeceased by a brother; Charles Diana, Jr. and a sister; Mary Bosco.
Relatives and friends may gather with Nick’s family on Tues. May 31, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield, CT. Funeral service will be held on Wed. June 1, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Church for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to: Evergreen Healthcare Resident Bazaar Fund, 205 Chestnut Hill Rd. Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
