Obituary for Pietro Tittarelli
Pietro Tittarelli, 83, of Enfield, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday August 21, 2016 with his loving family at his side. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Amy (LeBlanc) Tittarelli. Pietro was born on Jan. 13, 1933 in the town of Elce, Italy to the late Gaetano and Filomena (Paoletti). He had resided in Enfield for the past 51 years and in Moncton, N.B. Canada before that. Prior to retiring in 1998 Pietro was self-employed as a mason and construction worker for 51 years. He was a member B.A.C Union, the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of St. Martha Church, Enfield. Pietro was an accomplished businessman having started two businesses with his partner Santo Rosato and later two with his sons. His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his family. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren and held dear his family in Canada & Italy and numerous friends
Along with his wife Amy, he is also survived by his seven loving children; John & Josie Tittarelli of Suffield, Gaetano & Marianne Tittarelli of Suffield, Pietro Tittarelli, Jr. of Stafford, Dino & Elizabeth Tittarelli of Suffield, Antonio Tittarelli & fiancée Kim Schutz of Enfield, Gino Tittarelli & Jessica Simpson of Ellington and Amy Tittarelli & fiancé Dr. Steven Meleski of Berlin, sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his five siblings; Ida DiBonaventura of Rome, Italy, Delfina Cormier of Moncton, N.B. Canada, Nella Marchetti of Moncton, N.B. Canada, Domenica DiDomenico of Moncton, N.B. Canada and Nerina Marini of Rome, Italy along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by two brothers; Gabriele and Elio Tittarelli and four sisters; Clementina, Angiolina, Giuseppina and Elisabetta.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Pietro’s life will be held on Thursday August 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martha Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield, (Meet at Church). Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Enfield Loaves & Fishes, P.O.
