Adeline  T.  Cusimano (Cimino)
Adeline (Cimino) Cusimano, 90, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 at Baystate Medical Ctr., Springfield, MA. She was the beloved wife of Joseph J. Cusimano, who passed on Sept. 17, 2016. Adeline was born on June 9, 1926 in Enfield. CT, to the late Dominic and Angelina (Tamaro) Cimino and was a life-long resident of Enfield, growing up on the family farm Enfield Dairy. Prior to retiring she worked in the cafeteria with the Enfield Public School System for many years and then the former Jai-Alai of Hartford. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church and a member of St. Patrick prayer line, also a member of the former University of the Third Age. Her family was her life and she loved them dearly, along with helping others brought her great joy.
Adeline is survived by her beloved children; Karen Rider of West Hartford, CT and former son-in-law Kenneth Rider, Joseph Cusimano of Enfield and John Cusimano of Stafford Springs, her two cherished grandchildren; Amy Barron & husband Mark, Kenneth Rider & wife Alison, four adored great-greandchildren; Braden and Ryan Barron, and Emmy and Mari Rider, her sister; Eleanor Maniscalchi of Enfield, her special sister-in-law; Barbara Raccone, and sister-in-law, Mildred Cimino, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Joseph Cimino, John Cimino, Rosemary Olschafskie, and Barbara Stefanik.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 4, 2017 at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Enfield. Interment will then take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donations in Adeline’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
