Janice Charlotte (Delorge) Shaw, 81 of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Friday Feb. 10 2017 at Blair Manor. She was born on Dec. 21, 1935 to the late Amos and Delta (Rackis) Delorge and had resided in Enfield most of her life. Janice retired after having been employed with Hallmark Cards for 10 years. Her life revolved mostly around caring for her loving family and her home.
Janice is survived by her two loving daughters: Gail Dickson & husband Gary and Cindy Kaminsky & husband Mark both of Enfield, her beloved grandchildren April & Greg Brown, Gary Dickson, Jr., Rick Jurkowski, Kerri Jurkowski and Amber Sherokow and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Everett “Sonny” Delorge of FL, Marty Stokes of NH, Leonard “Lenny” Delorge (Michelle) of Enfield, Dennis Delorge (Kathy) of Enfield and Joanne Butler of Windsor Locks, special nieces; Shannon Remy (Michael), Tracey Stokes, and special nephew Butch Orson (Linda), along with several other nieces and nephews and their families. She was also predeceased by a brother Richard and step-brother Roy Lamore. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Friday Feb. 17, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Barry Andrusik officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
