Obituary for Barry J. Roberts

Barry Jay Roberts 82 of Enfield passed away, Tuesday April 25, 2017, at Evergreen Nursing Home. He was born in Poughkeepsie, New York the son of the late Harold and Florence (Case) Roberts. Barry served his country honorably in the United States Army as a PFC from September 12,1955 to August 26, 1957. He was employed as a test mechanic at Hamilton Standard for thirty-nine years. In his spare time, he enjoyed league bowling, puzzle making, and fishing. Barry is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Judith (McNally) Roberts, three children, Scott Roberts and his wife Margaret, Kenneth Roberts and his husband Daniel Higgins, and Glenn Roberts. Barry also leaves his three granddaughters, Jennifer Colucci and her husband Jesse, Jill Roberts, and Kelli Roberts, a grandson Kiel Roberts, and a great granddaughter Evalyn Colucci. Barry’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday April 29th at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd Enfield Ct from 9:00am to 11:00am. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Hazardville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham, Ma 01701.
