Conrad W. Ladd, 95, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, on Monday May 22, 2017 with loved ones at his side. He was the beloved husband to Jenny (Firth) Ladd. Conrad was born on Oct. 20, 1921 in Farmington, ME to the late Alton and Emma (Dickey) Ladd and had resided in Enfield for the past 67 years. Conrad served his country proudly with the U.S. Navy during WW II. Prior to retiring in 1984 he was employed with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 34 years.
Conrad was a member of Masonic Composite Lodge 28, Suffield. He was an avid NY Yankees fan and loved his cat “Shadow”.
In addition to his wife Jenny of 69 years, he is also survived by his son; Randall Ladd of Wellfleet, MA, and twin daughters & sons-in-law; Sherry & Carl Rinaldi of Enfield and Shelley & Timothy Lampron of Enfield, his beloved grandsons; R. Elliot Rinaldi & wife Gabrielle, and Adam Rinaldi & fiancée Caitlin. He was predeceased by a infant son Richard, and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services and burial with military honors in the Enfield Street Cemetery are private at the convenience of the family.
