Sarafina ”Vivian” Antinore Rinaldi of Longmeadow, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday May 28, 2017 at the age of 98 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to the late Carmen J. “Carl” Rinaldi who passed in 2009. She was born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Verdina) Antinore. Sarafina was a former Enfield resident and had resided in Longmeadow for most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church Longmeadow, MA. Also, a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Women’s Axillary in Enfield. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always to be in their hearts. Sarafina is survived by her beloved children: Joseph A. Rinaldi and his wife Rosemary, Carla A. Rinaldi, Robert J. Rinaldi and his wife Kathleen all of Longmeadow, MA; and her beloved grandchildren Carmen J. Rinaldi and his wife, Maria, Christina Rinaldi Czaporowski and her husband, David, Angelina Rinaldi Coneys and husband Colin, and Joseph A. Rinaldi. Sarafina also leaves her great-grandchildren: Clifton and Rosemary Lalime, Joseph, James, and Salvatore Rinaldi, Charlotte Coneys, and Ethan and Kaden Czaporowski. Sarafina also leaves a sister-in-law Frances Rinaldi and a cousin Josephine DeCaro and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents she was pre-deceased by her sister Frances Bellomo. Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 2nd at 10 :00 AM from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd, Enfield, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church Longmeadow, MA. Burial will be in Longmeadow Cemetery. Calling Hours are Thursday June 1, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield, CT.
