Condolences

Condolence From: Jeffrey Vella
Condolence: It's always sad when a family member passes, but aunt Mae was special to me, she was my Godmother as well. I remember as a kid going to her house every Christmas Eve and celebrating with the family. She was always so giving and made everyone feel welcomed. I also visited with her on many occasions when she lived in the Candlewood Condo. When she knew I would be stopping by, she'd make some pasta and she'd apologise that the sauce was from a jar and not homemade like the old Italian way. I also remember, she always had her book of prayers with dozens of names of all the people she would pray for. She told me that my name was also on that list. Well, now I'm saying a prayer for her tonight. I miss her. Rest in peace aunt Mae.

Condolence From: Gina DeBrino
Condolence: Our sympathies to Aunt Mae’s family. I have many, many special memories of Aunt Mae and Uncle Chif. From New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve celebrations at their home on Windsor Street (and her green ceramic Christmas tree with lights, and sliding down those stairs)! Aunt Mae and Uncle Chif were a big part of our lives growing up. She is missed. Gina (Brutto) DeBrino and family
