Deborah (Van Horn) Rogerson, 64, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, on Tuesday October 17, 2017. Debby was the beloved wife of 44 years to William Rogerson. She was born on November 1, 1952 in Hartford, CT to the late Robert and Jeannette (Adkins) Van Horn and had resided in Enfield for the past 40 years. Deb was a graduate of Enfield H.S. and Hartford Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to retiring Deborah was employed for 45 years with Connecticut Dermatology, Stephen D. Romeo, MD. and Manchester Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her husband William, she is also survived by her three children; Jessica Rogerson of West Roxbury, MA, Cheryl Rogerson, of Enfield and Kevin Rogerson of Ellington, her three adored grandchildren; Madelynn Louise, Halle Jean and Charleigh Hope, her four siblings; Richard Van Horn of Santa Maria, CA, Amy Gee of San Antonio, TX, Jennifer Anderson of Stafford Springs, CT and Becky Van Horn of Enfield. Deb loved being with family, collecting sand dollars and sea glass, or visiting wineries.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday Oct. 20, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Oct. 21, with the procession forming at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home to Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will at the convenience of the family in the Hazardville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross or your favorite charity.
