Patricia  D.  Dursza (Dunlap)
Patricia D. (Dunlap) Dursza, 73, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Life and went to join the choir of angels in Heaven, on Wednesday Nov. 8, 2017 with her loving family at her side at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Dursza. Patricia was born on April 18, 1944 in St. Albans, VT to the late Richard F. and Kathryn B. (Nevins) Dunlap, having resided in Enfield for the past 49 years, also in Windsor Locks and Enosburg Falls, VT prior to that. She was a 1962 graduate of Windsor Locks H. S. A devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt she dedicated her life to caring for family and her home. She was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church where she was active in the Church Choir, the Senior Luncheon, the Rosary Guild and various committees, a passion for singing she was also a member of the Enfield Community Chorus. Patricia was a member of the Red Hat Society, “Little Red Hens Chapter” and the Colonial Re-enactment Group. She loved to bake sweets and enjoyed reading about history.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, Ronald, she is also survived by two children; Laurie Swane & husband Scott, and Gregory Dursza all of Hadley, MA, a brother Barrie Dunlap & wife Jackie of Windsor Locks, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by a brother John Dunlap.
Patricia’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday Nov. 13, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday Nov. 14, 2017 with the procession forming at 9:00 am from the funeral home to St. Bernard Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Enfield. CT. The family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Bernard Church 426 Hazard Ave. Enfield, CT 06082.
