Elizabeth “Betty” T. (Linehan) Jameson, 90, passed on to Eternal Life on Monday Nov. 20, 2017 at Mt. Saint Vincent Care Center in Holyoke, MA. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to the late Victor C. Jameson. Elizabeth was born on March 31, 1927 in Lawrence, MA to the late James and Bridget (Kiley) Linehan. She was a graduate of Searles H.S. Lawrence, MA and The McIntosh School of Business, Methuen, MA. Betty had resided in Enfield, CT for 30 years, also in Daytona Beach, FL for 25 years and most recently in Feeding Hills, MA.
Prior to retiring she was employed with Bromson & Reiner Law Offices in Windsor Locks for 30 years and was a member and past president of Legal Secretary’s Assoc. of CT.
Betty is survived by her son Michael Jameson & wife Marilyn of Enfield, CT and Susan Smith & husband Nicholas of Feeding Hills, MA, her five beloved grandchildren; Michael Jameson (Amber) of Clinton, IL, Sean Jameson of Bristol, CT, Kaitlyn Jameson of Enfield, CT, Zachary Smith and Cody Smith of Feeding Hills, MA, three cherished great-grandchildren; Michael, Colin and Dylan Jameson of Clinton, IL. She is also survived by her brother Edward Linehan & wife Pauline of Daytona Beach, FL, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a sister Mary Barnat, and four brothers Thomas, James, Jr., Maurice and John Linehan.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat. Dec. 2, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church corner of Pearl & High Streets in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, (Please Meet at Church). Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield, CT.
