Obituary for Jennie ""Jane"" Haber

Jennie “Jane” Haber of Enfield, passed away peacefully, Wednesday January 10, 2018, after enduring years of a long illness. Jane grew up on a farm with her loving parents, the late Anthony and Helen Grabowski, and was the youngest of seven girls. She adored the country and all animals especially her Yorkie, Tiffany. She was very proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed Polish dancing, food and traditions. Jane worked at F.W. Sickles of Chicopee, MA as an inspector until she became a mother; which was the joy of her life. She was dedicated to, and proud of her children and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her son Ron Haber and his wife Judi, her daughter Sandra and her husband Rich and her beloved grandchildren Amanda, Danny, Ricky and Hunter. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Lucille Person, Jane Pierz, close friend and sister-in-law Phyllis Haber and many nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her sisters Helen, Natalie, Marion, Pearl, Alice, and Louise, as well as her in-laws Pauline Reichert and Edward Haber. Thank you to the dedicated caregivers at the Parkway Pavilion and to friends and family who supported our mother and us through the years. Jane’s family will receive relatives and friends, Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 with a procession forming at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home to St Adalbert Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to either The Juvenile Diabetes Assoc. or Alzheimer's Foundation.
