Heather Anne Swider
Heather Anne Swider, 39, of East Windsor, Our, beautiful daughter, mother, sister, aunt, & cousin has left our world on January 10, 2018 for a brighter path. She was born on May 20, 1978 in Springfield, MA, a daughter of Doris L. (Reale) Jacobs and her husband Samuel of Enfield and Ronald Swider & his wife Linda of Springfield, MA, and step-daughter of Pete Chabot of Windsor Locks. Heather had attended Windsor Locks H.S. and North Fort Myers, FL High. Heather is best described as a free spirit. She danced to her own tune. She was extremely intelligent, full of life hard-working, feisty, and loving. Heather was passionate about music, loved musicians anywhere from Neil Diamond to Anthrax. She could find her life story in a song. She loved to clean and research home remedies to help herself and others. Many, times in life she was a protector, especially to her sisters. Her family meant everything to her; especially Alex, her son whom she loved deeply. She faced many a rough road in life but never once did it ever keep her down. Heather always got back up and persevered. Her love of life was unimaginable. We watched her grow into one of the strongest women we have ever known. Her family cherishes their many memories of her especially the quirky ones. Our world will never be the same without her. Heather was an advocate of Autism Awareness and member of Team Sweet Pete in support of her Autistic nephew Peter.
In addition to her parents she is also survived by her soulmate of 17 years; Gary Roberts currently of New Hampshire, her beloved son; Alexander Walker Jacobs of Enfield, her paternal grandfather; Chester Swider of W.
