Charles  "Cha Cha" A.   Misuraca
Charles “Cha Cha” A. Misuraca, 88, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018 at Johnson Memorial Medical Ctr. Stafford Springs. Charles was born on June 8, 1929 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield to the late Salvatore and Maria (Guilana) Misuraca and was a life-long resident. He served his country proudly with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to retiring in 1990, Charles was employed with the State of Connecticut, Employment Agency Division for 33 years.
Charles is survived by a sister Eleanor Pierce & husband Raymond of West Springfield, MA, a brother Alphonse Misuraca & wife Jeannette of Jaffrey, NH, a niece Suzanne Machinski of Stonington, and a nephew Michael Misuraca of Westerly, RI, along with several cousins, and dear friends Tony & Alva Torre of Enfield and their daughters Catherine, Adriana, & Carla.
The family and Tony & Alva would like to thank Lori, Charles’s home helper, for her kindness and loving care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at 10 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Enfield. A visitation period will be held prior to the Mass from 9:00 to 10 am at the church. Burial with military honors will follow in the Thompsonville Cemetery, Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with his arrangements. Enfield.
