Chia Yang, 95, of Enfield, CT wife of the late Wa Yee Xiong entered into eternal peace on September 07, 2007 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, CT.

She was born on March 18, 1912 in Laos. Chia came to the United States in 1979 where she settled in Hartford, CT then later moved to Enfield, CT. She leaves behind; a son Tong Xiong and his wife Mai Yang Xiong, three daughters, Jou Yang, Mai Yia Thor and her husband Cheng Thor, all of Enfield; and May Vang and her husband Dang Vang of WI. She also leaves behind 31 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all her loved ones.

Chia Yang and her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 21, 2007 through Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Burial will be Monday Sept. 24 at 1:30 pm in Hazardville Cemetery
