Fred Fournier Jr., 83, passed away in Florida on November 27, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 19, 1935 in Ashland, ME to Fred and Rena (Duprey) Fournier. Fred a U.S. Air Force veteran was employed as a heavy machine operator before working as a maintenance specialist for Hallmark Cards in Enfield, CT. In 1994, Fred retired to spend more time with his loving wife Jeannette of 59 years. They enjoyed winters in Kissimmee, Florida and summers at Sun Valley Beach Club, Stafford, CT.
In addition to his wife Jeannette, Fred leaves behind his daughter Debbie Shaw and his son Michael and wife Linda of Enfield, CT, and three grandsons, Vincent Fournier, of Hauppauge, NY, Brian Shaw of Austin, TX and Michael “MJ” Fournier of Enfield. Fred also leaves his sisters Florence Skidgell of Seattle, WA and Elizabeth Hemingway of CT, and a brother Joseph of Trotwood, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his parents, two brothers Alfred and Lionel and a sister Mary Jane Bushy.
