Judy Ann Henzel-Gastringer, 58, of Southwick, MA, passed from her earthly journey on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 with loved ones at her side. She was the beloved wife of James P. Gastringer. Judy was born on Jan, 27, 1960 in Worcester, MA to Therese (Richard) Henzel-Bernard and the late Franklin Henzel. She had resided in Southwick for the past 20 years and in Enfield before that.
Judy was employed for over 30 years with UTC, Hamilton Standard/Sundstrand.
In addition to her husband, James she is survived by her two children James J. Gastringer of DC and Tracey J. Codling of FL, and her cherished grandson Camden Gastringer, her mother Therese and husband Roger Bernard of Enfield, and siblings Robert T. Henzel & wife Ellen of Enfield, James Henzel, Dorothy Henzel of Kneene, NH, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Judy’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd. Enfield (Please meet at church). Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield, CT.
