Mary "Maisie" E.   Brennan (McAdorey)
Mary “Maisie” E. (McAdorey) Brennan, 91, of Enfield, entered into eternal life, on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 with loved ones at her side, at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr., Hartford. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Edward D. Brennan. Mary was born on Dec. 15, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Daniel and Minnie (Murphy) McAdorey. She was a graduate of Cathedral H.S. Class of 1944. Prior to retiring in 2006 Mary was employed with the Enfield Housing Authority for 18 years and was an Avon Sales Rep. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Church and member of the Rosary Guild, and Enfield Republican Town Committee. She enjoyed traveling, murder mystery’s and Maisie was mentioned in Frank McCourt’s Novel “Angela’s Ashes”.
Mary is survived by her four children; Daniel Edward Brennan & wife Phyllis of Groveland, FL, Timothy Brennan of Coventry, Maureen Brennan of Vernon and Terrance Sean Brennan of Enfield, her four grandchildren; Meghan, Andrew, Kevin and Melissa, many nieces and nephews and cousins especially Fran Pignaell, Margaret Velez and Pat Scott.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson; Daniel Edward Brennan, Jr. and an aunt Nellie Murphy Pilson.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday Jan. 22, 2018, 11:00 am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service beginning at 9:00 am. Burial will follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
