Alice Kineas, 76, of Somers, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the comfort of her home with loved ones at her side. Born on July 15, 1944 in Lemons, Greece to the late Gregory Kineas and Sophie (Vassiliou) Regas. Prior to residing in Somers, she also lived in Enfield, Walnut Creek, CA and Cypress, TX. As an adult Alice furthered her education at Cambridge College, MA and received her Master’s Degree in Education in 2002 and went on to become a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections, a job she loved and took great pride in. She was a devoted grandmother.
Alice is survived by her husband of eleven years Lee Fusselman, her daughter Jacqueline Kennedy Byrne of Somers, her cherished granddaughter Sophia Byrne. She is also survived by two sisters, Katherine Staples & husband Robie and Helen Smith all of Enfield, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by Thomas Kineas. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:30 am in St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church, 400 Prospect St. East Longmeadow, MA.
