Obituary for Amelia "Millie" Hottin (Lamagna)

Amelia “Millie” Hottin 95, of Enfield, CT.
Millie (Lamagna) Hottin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24th at The Governor’s House Nursing Home in Simsbury, Ct. She was born in Thompsonville, Ct. on September 28, 1925 to Maria (Moschetti) and Ferdinand Lamagna.
Millie was a talented artist who loved to paint seascapes, especially lighthouses. She and her late husband Harold enjoyed traveling all over New England where she gained inspiration for her work. She was a savvy shopper who loved to find a bargain for herself and others.
Millie was predeceased by her loving husband, of 57 years, Harold, and her son Gary, as well as her sister Florence McCracken and brothers Pat, Peter and Carlo Lamagna. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Allery and her partner John Thompson, her grandson Lee Allery, his wife Stephanie and great granddaughter Isla Marie. She leaves her sister and best friend Dora Krivickas and her husband Al as well as several nieces and nephews. She attended St. Bernard’s church in Enfield. Burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Enfield will be private.
