Obituary for Anna M. Twarkins Rodrigue (Barone )
Anna M. (Barone) Twarkins Rodrigue, 90, of Windsor Locks, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Bickford Healthcare, Windsor Locks. She was the beloved wife for the last 32 years to Rene J. Rodrigue. Anna was born on June 27, 1928 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, CT, to the late Cologero and Angelina (Brancato) Barone. She was a resident of Windsor Locks, East Granby, Enfield and Davenport, FL.
Anna had been employed with Milton Bradley, E. Longmeadow for more than 30 years prior to retiring.
In addition to her husband Rene, she is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Joseph & Diane Twarkins of Windsor, CT and Robert & Susan Twarkins of Agawam, MA, three grandchildren, Holly Carneiro & husband Carlos, Shari Olden & husband Robert, and Michael Twarkins, six great-grandchildren, a brother John Barone of Cromwell, CT, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Charles A. Twarkins, her grandson Christopher Twarkins, her parents and siblings Samuel, Charles, and Joseph Barone, Angelina Tyskewicz, Marion Drago, and Josephine Spazzarini. Her family would especially like to thank the nurses and aids at Bickford Healthcare for the wonderful and compassionate care given to her during here stay there.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield, CT.
Burial will then take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield, CT. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
