Anthony “Tony” M. Nelson, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 33 on Friday, November 6, 2020. Anthony was born in Riverside, CA on November 6, 1987 and lived in Enfield most of his life and Manchester for the past year. He was educated in Enfield and was a graduate of Enrico Fermi H.S., having played hockey, basketball and football. He dreamed of furthering his education and working for ESPN as a sports commentator, a sports fanatic, he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Tony also enjoyed traveling, reading biographies & the Guinness Book of World Records. He cherished his family and time spent with them. Tony was employed for 10 years with CT Valley Homes.
Anthony is survived by his significant other, Alexia Gonzalez of four years, two children Anthony, Jr & Caroline Rose, his father Kenneth R. Nelson, Jr and wife Jo-Marie, his mother Vickie Allen and husband Scott, grandparents, Denise Desrocher, Larry and Randi Dufresne, Jeanette Graveline, Kenneth Nelson, Sr. and Rose Prochaska, his siblings; Kenneth, Autumn, Alison, Morgan, Philip and Aaron many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Services for Anthony will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Anthony & Caroline Educational Fund C/O Peoples United Bank, 54 Hazard Ave. Enfield, CT 06082.
