Obituary for Barbara Marion Ouellette

WINDSOR LOCKS – Barbara M. (Martin) Ouellette, 62, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Springfield, she grew up in Enfield and was a 1976 graduate of Enrico Fermi High School where she was on the tennis team and was a homecoming queen. She has lived in Windsor Locks for the last seven years. Barbara worked at Disability Insurance Specialists and previously worked for over twenty years at Hamilton Standard. She enjoyed doing puzzles with her good friend, Ann Marie, the ocean, traveling to Maine and the New Jersey shore, which were her two favorite spots, and her dogs, Morgan, Mr. Gibbs and Ernie. Barbara was a very caring and giving person, she always went the extra mile to make people happy by a kind word, sending a card for a special occasion or by her actions. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty J. (Benner) Martin in 2012 and a brother, Wesley E. Martin, Jr. She leaves her fiancé, Daniel L. Fuller, who admits she made him a better person, her father, Wesley E. Martin, Sr. of Enfield, a sister and her husband, Karen L. and John Piret of Mt. Pleasant, SC, two nieces, Kristine Piret, Amanda and her husband Troy Nagel, a great-nephew, Caden Nagel, a sister-in-law, her late brother’s wife, Tina Martin of Agawam and the entire Fuller family, and many family members and friends.
