Obituary for Betty Ann Carrier

SOMERSVILLE - Betty A. (Davis) Carrier, 82, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Browington, VT, daughter of the late Merrick and Dorothy May (Weeks) Davis, she lived in Windsor Locks before moving to Somersville seven years ago. Betty worked for over twenty years at Lego and retired as a floor supervisor. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved to play cards at the Knights of Columbus and Senior Center in Windsor Locks. Betty enjoyed Sunday family dinners and playing with her great grandchildren Nathan and Liam. She was the widow of Joseph L. Carrier whom she was married to for thirty-three years. She leaves her children, Norman, Sr. and his wife, Karen Mayette of Somersville, Karen was her loyal daughter-in-law, who helped take care of her, Ronald Mayette of Georgetown, DE, Larry and Jeanette Carrier of Windsor Locks, Sheri Mayette Carrier of Seattle, WA, Theresa Carrier Hanford and husband Bob , Michael and Cheryl Carrier, her grandchildren, Norman Mayette Jr., Ashley Mayette Ertel, Merrick Mayette, Matthew Mayette, Darci Mayette Bining, Deanna Mayette, Tim Mayette, Alex Mayette, Nica White, Joan White (Wil's significant other) and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her loyal dog Charlie. Betty also leaves her two special friends Marion and Eileen. She was predeceased by first husband, Richard Norman Mayette,, her second husband, Joseph L. Carrier,her son Wilferd Mayette, sister Helen Cote and brother Robert Davis. Betty's family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital for all the kindness that was shown to her. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 9 - 11am at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield.
