Christopher J. Kennedy, Sr. of Enfield & Suffield passed from his earthly journey on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the age of 55. Born in Hartford, CT to Annette Josephine DuPont and the late William Coleman Kennedy, Sr. He was raised in Suffield and in adulthood in Enfield. He had been a machinist for area tool & die companies. He had a love for life, music and nature. His favorite thing in life was to be “jammin out, & campin out”
He is survived by a son Christopher J. Kennedy, Jr of Broad Brook, a daughter Amanda L. Kennedy of Windsor Locks, a daughter Savannah L. and Jeffrey Sandone of Windsor Locks, three grandchildren Madyson E. Kennedy, Elijah Leo A. Kennedy, and Annabelle E. Crespo Kennedy and his mother. He is also survived by his former wife of 11 years, the mother of his children Martine Maltagliati, his siblings Mathew J. Kennedy of Enfield, William Coleman Kennedy, Jr of West Suffield, Kathleen A. (Kennedy) Brennan of Windsor Locks, two step-sisters Gale (Johnson) Weatherbee of Bangor, ME, and Jane (Johnson) Jack of Sarasota, FL, as well as many nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his father William Coleman Kennedy, Sr., step-father Richard R. Johnson and a nephew William Coleman Kennedy, III.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:30 pm followed by a Service at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield.
