Obituary for Claire B. Daigle (Choiniere)

It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Claire Daigle, who left us peacefully on April 13, 2024, at the age of 89. She departed surrounded by her loving family. She was a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and the heart of our family.
Born on August 28, 1934, Claire dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her loved ones. Her unwavering love knew no bounds, and her presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Claire was a compassionate soul, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her kindness knew no limits, and her generosity touched the lives of many. Whether it was a comforting embrace or a listening ear, she always found a way to show her love and support. Her family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Her love created a bond that will forever hold us together, even in her absence.
Claire was predeceased by her son David Daigle, her sisters Pauline Nadeau and Doris Nelson, her grandson Richard Santanella and infant great granddaughters Scarlett and Sloane Hollman.
She is survived by her spouse of almost 70 years, Robert “Ray” and their children, Richard Daigle (Lynn), Nancy Prochaska (Frank), Randy Daigle (Stacy) and Lori LaRusso (John). She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Alex Seligson (Rachel), Kasey Frizzell (Otto), Kristen Walters-Zucco (Ed), Brett Pare (Cassidy), Courtney Hollman (Brian), Renee Daigle (Jashua), Steven Daigle (Taylor), Jordan Sherman (Justin), Madison LaRusso (Joshua), Peter Santanella (Amy), Heather Santanella, Anthony Sperrazza and TJ Sperrazza and 15 great grandchildren.
Though she may no longer be with us in person, Claire's spirit will continue to live on in our hearts and memories. Her legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will guide us through the days ahead. The family would like to thank the staff of the 9th floor and CICU at St. Francis Hospital for their loving care of Claire.
A celebration of Claire's life will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Visitation from 11a.m – 3 p.m., with a 2:30 p.m. service at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield.
