Obituary for Clayton M. Bishop

ENFIELD – Clayton M. Bishop, 80, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 18, 2019 at home. Born in Caribou, ME, son of the late Wilfred and Bernadet (Levesque) Bishop, he lived in Rockville before moving to Enfield forty-six years ago. Clayton was the retired owner of Bishop Spray Painting. He was a member of several set back leagues in Enfield, and had been an antique dealer. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara (Spilka) Bishop in 2006. He leaves two sons, Andrew J. and his wife Alice M. Bishop, with whom he resided, his caregiver, John D. Bishop both of Enfield, a daughter and her husband, Lisa B. and Peter J. Lambert of Windsor Locks, and two grandchildren, Becki Lambert White and her husband, Bobby White, and Josh Lambert. All services are private and Browne Memorial Chapels are in charge of arrangement. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Services, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
