David “Dave” J. McFarlane, 47, passed from his earthly journey on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. David was born on August 14, 1972 in Hartford, CT, son of David E. McFarlane and the late Carol A. (RyJoch) McFarlane. He resided in the local area all his life. Dave worked was employed as an auto mechanic. He was an avid fisherman, loved riding quads and dirt bikes and working on cars.
Dave is survived by his companion of many years Donna Marie, his daughter Alexis L. Piirainen, his grandson Carter Toccaline, his father David E. McFarlane and his wife Penny of Coventry, two sisters Sherry McFarlane of Stafford and Dawn McFarlane of Wales, MA, a step-sister Krystal Anderson and husband Peter, a step-brother Brian LeFleche and wife Amanda , Kathy Piirainen, who was like a 2nd mother, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Carol in 1996.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family,
