Obituary for Diane J. Normandin (Greenier)
Diane J. (Greenier) Normandin, 79, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born on October 13, 1942 in Caribou, Maine a loving daughter to the late Edward R. and Anna Belle (Martin) Greenier, having resided in Enfield for the past 52 years. Diane spent 25 years working as a home health aide of which she enjoyed taking care of her patients. She enjoyed going to the Senior Centers in Enfield & East Longmeadow to meet her friends for lunch & watching movies, and also watching UCONN Huskies Basketball and the Red Sox. Diane was a very active member of St. Martha Parish, Enfield, as Choir member and serving with the Eucharistic Ministry.
Diane is survived by her loving children Shawn Normandin & wife Rhonda of Adams, TN, Craig Normandin of Enfield, Michelle (Normandin) Murphy of Enfield, and Collette Goolsby & husband David of Enfield, her eight beloved grandchildren Rochelle Normandin, Michael Normandin, Cian Normandin, Taylor Normandin, Cyle Murphy, Tyler Murphy, Holden Goolsby, and Hannah Goolsby, and a great grandchild Brayden Normandin. She is also survived by three sisters Loretta Mattoon of NY, Phyllis Tatham of NH, and Donna Barden of NC, along with many nieces, nephews, and other family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson Colin Murphy and many of her brothers and sisters as she was the 19th child.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Diane will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:30 am in St. Martha Parish, 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield, CT. Interment will follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
