Obituary for Earl W. Morell

Earl William Morell, 99, of Enfield entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2021 in the comfort of his home with loved ones at his side. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to the late Asenath (Rice) Morell. Born on December 6, 1921 in Springfield, MA to the late George and Clara (Miller) Morell and was a long-time resident of Enfield. Earl served his country proudly with the U.S. Army during WW II. Prior to retiring he was a self-employed carpenter for 65 years. He was a Western fan, enjoyed riding horse named ginger, a major baseball fan, especially the Red Sox his favorite team and loved going to Pizza Palace for breakfast. Earl is survived by his two daughters Susan M. Bilodeau and husband Steven, Sr. of Enfield and Sharon L. Edgar and husband Kenneth of Enfield, his four grandchildren; Steven Bilodeau, Jr., Kimberly Williams, Edna St. Louis and Janet Higley, great-grandchildren; Jessica Bilodeau, Alexis Bilodeau, Cassidy Bilodeau, Caleb Williams, Samantha Williams, Mathieu St. Louis, and great-great-grandchildren; Aubree Chappell, Avery Bilodeau and Liam Wilson. He is also survived by his siblings; Howard Morell, Marion Garver, Shirley, Kate, and Franny McKnight, as well as several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service at the convenience of the family was held in Springdale Cemetery in East Windsor, CT. You may leave an online condolence message here for the family.
