Obituary for Evelyn Sperrazza (Zirolli)
Evelyn T. (Zirolli) Sperrazza, 94, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Sperrazza (1988). Born on February 14, 1928 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, a daughter of the late John and Carmella (Giuliano) Zirolli. She was a lifelong resident of Enfield.
Prior to retiring in 1990, Evelyn was employed with Casual Corner, Enfield for 25 years. Evelyn was a member of the Rinaldi-Roy Fede Pot 17 and the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Women’s Auxiliary.
Evelyn is survived by her two children; Pamela Grenier and husband Tom of S. Windsor, and Christopher Sperrazza and partner Mary Ridel of Enfield, her two beloved grandsons Alex and Thomas Grenier, she is also survived by a sister Vincie Reale Barcomb of Enfield and a brother John Zirolli and his wife Diane of S. Windsor, along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four sisters; Mary Kozak, Jennie Gogulski, Rose Andruss, Lillian Barkyoumb and a brother Joseph Zirolli.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 9:30 – 10:30 at Browne Memorial Chapels, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. Martha Church, Enfield. Interment will take place in the Thompsonville Cemetery, Enfield. The family has requested memorial donation be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 1365 Enfield St. Enfield, CT 06082.
