Obituary for Fernando Ortiz, Jr.
It is with great sadness that the family of Fernando Ortiz Jr. 47 of East Hartford CT. announce his passing on Tuesday November 16th, 2021 after a battle with covid. He was formerly a resident of Enfield CT.
Fernando loved wrestling, from being on the Enrico Fermi High wrestling team to jumping off the ropes when he wanted to be the next Hulk Hogan on WWE. He also grew up loving the Miami Dolphins just like his father. He also loved the New England Patriots and that took some arm bending from his fiancé Brenda Kertenis. His smile and laughter was so infectious, he was such a joker you couldn’t help but laugh.
He is survived by his parents Fernando Sr. and Rosa Ortiz of Enfield CT, his two sisters Luz Galarza and husband Israel, Rosa Correa and her husband Victor L.Correa Jr. of Chicopee MA. He is also survived by his three children, Ariana Ortiz, Noah Ortiz, Fiorentina Louise Ortiz and the women he loved deeply, his best friend, his fiancé Brenda Kertenis of East Hartford CT. His 2 nephews of Chicopee MA, 3 nieces in PA and 2 nieces in Plainville Ct. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
