Frances L. Bernier, 90, of Somers CT entered into the Lords infinite mercy on April 19, 2021. Frances is survived by her brother George, her brother Richard and his wife Beverly Tyszka, a sister Mary Ann McIllduff, a daughter Linda and her husband Gregory, a son Michael and his wife Janene, a daughter Catherine and her husband Andrew and a son John and his wife Jennifer. She also survived by her grandchildren: Janna Lyn, Zeven, Serena, Beato Pio, Gabrielle, Maria & Olivia, Dominic and Anthony, Brianna and Jonathan as well as a great grandchild: Marlow Bailey and many nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Casmir F. Tyszka and Mary Sophia Uszik Tyszka. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Clement F. Bernier. Frances is also pre-deceased by her brothers John, Casmir and her sister Florence Tyszka.
A former resident of Rocky Hill, Cromwell, Old Saybrook, and West Hartford, CT. Frances was part of the 3rd Order Carmelite. As a faithfull and devout Catholic, Frances had an ardent appreciation of the Gift of Life. A quote to remember Frances by: “You gave your children the gift of life and eternity”.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 22, 2021. A Memorial Mass and celebration of Frances’s life will be held at St Martha’s Church, Enfield at 10:00 am with burial following at Somers Center Cemetery. Memorial Donations can be made in Frances’s honor to The Little Sisters of the Poor located at St. Josephs Residence 1365 Enfield St Enfield, CT 06082
