Obituary for Frances Kahn (Dexler)
Frances Kahn, 96 formally of Enfield and Somers, CT, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend left this world to be with her husband and daughter on Wednesday, April 27,2022.
Frances was born on March 7, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Moe Dexler and Lena (Getsky) Dexler. Fran was predeceased by her husband Lester H. Kahn and daughter Deborah Kahn and brother Abraham Dexler.
Fran leaves behind her son, Robert M. Kahn and daughter in law, Michele Metta Kahn and their two daughters, Gina Marie Dewey and husband Patrick as well as Sara Leah Ortiz and her husband Juan David Ortiz. Also left to morn are her five great grandchildren Daleah (Luca) Ortiz, David Ortiz and Leanni Rose Ortiz and Isabella Marie Dewey and Sofia Grace Dewey. Also her niece Sharon Dexler and sister in law Bess Cohen as well as her niece Bonnie Alstom and nephews Mark and Phillip Cohen. She will miss her friends at Woodcrest in Somers, Ct. where she lived for Il years playing card games and enjoying conversations with her fellow friends.

In honor of Frances' wishes funeral services and burial will be private. Interment at Hartford Mutual Society Memorial Park in East Granby/Simsbury, Ct.
