Obituary for Gary J. Leblanc

Gary J. LeBlanc, 65, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, April 20, 1955, he was the son of Joseph A and the late Dora (Lajoie) LeBlanc.. Gary grew up in Hartford and later moved to Enfield where he has lived for many years.

A loving Father and loyal friend, Gary proudly served our country in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked as a concrete carpenter and welder for the CT Carpenters Union, local 43, before retiring. He was a long time member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Enfield and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Enfield Moose Riders. Gary loved to watch movies and TV was one of his favorite downtimes. He was also an avid hunter and loved fly-fishing with his family and friends. Anyone who knew Gary would have known what a great sense of humor and fun personality he had. He was a man to always crack a joke in any situation, no matter where he was or who he was with. He will be greatly missed.

Beside his father, Gary is survived by his children, Joshua LeBlanc of Haines City, FL, Andrea LeBlanc of Suffield, CT, and Cheryl Collins-Kowarsky of Springfield, MA. He was predeceased by a son, Tyrone LeBlanc and daughter Janay LeBlanc. He also leaves two brothers, Raymond LeBlanc and his wife Linda of Enfield, CT and Michael LeBlanc and his wife Darla of Willis, TX, his former wife Stacie (Pollard) LeBlanc, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be Thursday, April 15, 2021, 4-7 pm at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd in Enfield.
