Gerald E. “Jerry” Drake, 72, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Born on November 18, 1950 in Presque Isle, Maine, a son of the late Elwin and Marie (Raymond) Drake. He resided in Enfield most of his life, grew up and educated in Enfield he was a graduate of Enfield H.S. Jerry then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served proudly from 1969-1972, during the Vietnam War. Through the years he held various jobs, having retired from Yankee Spirits, Sturbridge, MA.
Jerry was an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox’s, NE Patriot and UCONN basketball both Men and Women’s teams.
Jerry is survived by his siblings; Michael Drake of Westbrook, Judy Dupuis of West Suffield, Joyce Frangiamore of Enfield, Jeffrey Drake of Simsbury and Lynn Nolan of Portland, along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Janice Lapins.
Service for Jerry will be private at the convenience of his family.
Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield is assisting with his arrangements.
