Jackie “Jack” D. Holeman, 86, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was the beloved husband to the late Beverly June (Ogilvie) Holeman (1995) Born November 20, 1931 in Ada, Oklahoma, son of the late Fred Ottis and Myrtle Sarah (Wolfe) Holeman an had resided in Enfield for the past 64 years. Jackie
served our country honorably with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Prior to retiring he was employed with Combustion Engineering, Windsor for 37 years. Pop enjoyed trips to the casinos, was an avid N.E. Patriots fan, but his greatest pride and joy was his children and grandchildren they were his world.
Pop is survived by his children and their spouses; Donald & Deborah Holeman, Susan & David DeGray, Cheryl & Daniel Barile, Sheryl Martin & husband Jody Souer, and son-in-law Gary Hannon all of Enfield, his seven beloved grandchildren; Christine Alexander & husband Marc, Joseph Holeman, Jackie Allen & husband Nicholas, Paul Hannon & fiancée Cheryl, Katie Reeve & husband Ken, Tyler Barile, Dan Barile & wife Kelly and six cherished great grandchildren, also his sister Alice McKaig of TX, along with many nieces and nephews.
Jackie’s family would like to especially thank his nurses Marie and Eileen, as well as his caregiver Joanne for the exceptional and compassionate care he was given. Besides his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a daughter Beverly Hannon (2000) and a brother Billy Ray Holeman.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a Prayer Service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Barry Andrusik officiating. Interment will then take place with Military Honors in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
