Obituary for Janice N. Ouellette

ENFIELD – Janice N. (Dzurich) Ouellette, 75, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at home. Janice was born on April 26, 1945 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Adeline (Pyznar) Dzurich, she grew up in Windsor Locks. She attended St. Mary's Grammar School and was a 1963 graduate of Windsor Locks High School. She lived in Enfield most of her life. Prior to retiring in 2013, Janice was employed by the Town of Enfield. She enjoyed polka bands and loved polka music. Having a quick wit and a great sense of humor, Janice could many anyone smile. She loved and was devoted to her dogs. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Alan Dzurich and her former husband, Ronald Ouellette. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sharon Dzurich of Windsor Locks, 2 nieces and cousins. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11 am at Mary, Gate of Heaven Church, formerly St. Mary's Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. Strict social distancing protocols and the use of face masks will be required. In lieu of flowers, Jan requested memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Shriner’s Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or Children’s Miracle Network, c/o Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT 06106.
