Jeffrey R. Duarte, of South Windsor, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 59, on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital Hartford, CT. After a long and courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Jeff was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (Cathy) Antonacci Duarte and loving son of the late Richard and Anne Marie (Nancy) Thompson Duarte. Jeffrey was born in Fall River, MA, grew up and educated in Enfield, he was a graduate of Enrico Fermi H. S., Enfield Class of 1982. He was employed with New England Engine & Parts Warehouse Inc., Worcester, MA. as the warehouse manager. He was an avid sports fan.
Jeff is survived by his aunt June McDonough of Bristol, RI, and several cousins.
A Funeral home service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield, CT. There will be a visitation period from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will then follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
