ENFIELD – John E. Gilmour, 66, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 29, 2021 at home.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Douglas and Florence (Mabb) Gilmour, he grew up in West Springfied and lived in Holyoke for many years before settling in Enfield, CT.   John previously worked at the former Baystate Gas Company, Twin Hills Country Club along with various other jobs, with the last being at T-Ville Food Mart (Chiko’s) in Enfield. He enjoyed being with family and making new friends He leaves a brother, Gordon Gilmour of South Hadley, four sisters, Sharon Miner of Belchertown, Donna Hansen of East Granby, CT, Joanne Gilmour of Springfield, Carol Gilmour-O’Neil of Windsor Locks, and many nieces and nephews.  Due to the current situation, all services are private.  A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.  For online condolences, please visit www.brownefuneralchapel.com
